How did we deliver?
Before fully taking over Equidor’s social media platforms, their pages were audited for possible improvements.
These improvements included some quick-wins like adding relevant information to the ‘about’ Facebook section,
alongside opening times for customers to view.
An in-house meeting was held with the Equidor team to discuss what was needed from their social media platforms,
so we could create a full social media strategy relevant to their goal.
It was decided at that point that Instagram posts would be a good idea,
due to Equidor’s target market being mainly female, from the ages 18-65.
As Instagram is predominantly used by a younger audience this would fit their target audience nicely.
We visited Equidor to take professional photos of the shop and products to use in social media posts.
These would then be used as marketing materials to push product sales on the company’s website.
Videos were also created of the refurbished shop floor, which had just reopened,
so customers could get an exclusive look at the new space.
New ideas were brainstormed with the aim of increasing page likes organically with little to no advertising.
This consisted of giveaways, competitions, and engaging video-based content.
Once approved by the Equidor team, original posts were designed and scheduled according to this new social media strategy.
One competition we ran for Equidor was ‘win a photoshoot with your horse’ which went down a storm with customers.
The page gained a lot of interest during this competition and our photographers delivered the photoshoot for the winner.
We also created a branded Facebook banner using images of customers with Equidor products that were submitted for a second competition.
We prepared monthly insight reports so the team could track the progress of each of their social media pages.
This included insight into page likes per month, post reach, page visits, actions taken on the page and referral sources.
With regular, consistent posts, Equidor’s Facebook page likes increased by 914 in 6 months.
